Event Details:
Arrival: Children to be in their classrooms at 6:30pm for a 6:45pm start.
Parent Seating: Parents may take their seats in the Big Hall by 6:40pm.
Dress Code: White top and dark pants for all children.
Who: This gathering is for our Primary School children. Our younger ones will have their own special moment in time.
The Class 3 Market Day will no longer be part of the Friday Market. Instead, it will take place on Monday during first break and after school. Our Class 3 children will still be stepping into the role of budding entrepreneurs, running their carefully made stalls, practising money skills, and sharing the joy of giving back, with all proceeds going to charity.
As the year gently draws to a close, we warmly invite our high school families to a festive soiree filled with entertainment, laughter, and a bring-and-share feast.
The Class 11 students presented a moving Eurythmy performance after months of dedicated practice. Their pieces explored the tension between chaos and order, showing how these two forces meet and shape one another through movement. It was a thoughtful and beautifully executed contribution from the class.

The Class 10 and Class 1 students met on the oval this week for a buddies picnic to celebrate the nearing end of term. They shared snacks, enjoyed the fresh air, and spent time playing together. It was a relaxed gathering that gave the younger children a chance to connect with their older buddies and brought a warm close to the term for both classes.
This week’s artwork showcases a variety of projects, including Class 8’s ‘Merging of Time’ and ‘Secret Garden,’ lino prints from Class 9, and a featured piece by Amarah Edwards, ‘Disconnected,’ along with her matric portfolio.
Merging of Time – Students staged a photo of themselves recreating an artwork of their choice. They then used the photo as a reference to create a painting in the style of the original artwork. (you can click between the final and reference photos below)
Secret Garden – Students focused on the elements of art and the principles of design as they recreated a magical garden using a variety of mediums and techniques.
Lino Print – printmaking technique where an image is carved into linoleum, inked, and then pressed onto paper to create a bold, textured artwork.

This artwork by Amarah Edwards has been selected for exhibition at the Western Cape Premier’s NSC Awards 2025/2026 in recognition of its quality, the dedication of the Visual Arts teacher, and the creativity of our learners. It will be showcased at the awards ceremony on Thursday, 29 January 2026, alongside works from top Visual Arts students across the province.

The school community gathered last week for the Annual General Meeting, beginning the evening in our lovely Waldorf way with shared singing that gently brought presence and togetherness into the space. Alison Tobler then offered a thoughtful contribution on behalf of the College of Teachers, sharing a story about adaptation and its significance in the life of our school.
The meeting moved through its formal business, including the approval of the previous year’s minutes, the adoption of the Annual Financial Statements, and the confirmation of auditors for the upcoming financial year.
The proposed slate of Trustees was presented and approved, marking the beginning of a new governance cycle for the year ahead. Attendees were also able to engage in a short question-and-answer session, creating space for clarification and dialogue.
The school extends its appreciation to all who attended and participated, helping to hold the continued growth and stewardship of the community.
The High School is looking for brass candle stick holders to be used at our High School Soiree next week on the 10th of December.
Donations will lovingly be kept as part of the school decor and set design.
If you are able to lend and not donate your candle stick, we will make sure to return it before school closes. Please make sure to mark them with your name & cell number.

A heartfelt thank you to the Matric Parents of 2025 for gifting our high school teachers a wonderful afternoon of bowling at the Constantia Bowls Club. It was an incredible team-building experience, and many laughs were had by all.
The opportunity to relax, connect, and share in this experience with colleagues was truly refreshing and very much needed. We are grateful for the time together as a high school faculty.

Join Dr James Dyson for a thought provoking two part talk exploring the spiritual dimensions of human relationships through the lens of Anthroposophy. The How to Love course developed by Dr Tessabella Lovemore is now available in Afrikaans for the first time. It is an online course of 12 lessons over 12 months. “These 12 lessons have made a significant change in the way I relate to people, loved ones, colleagues, and strangers.”
